   Christmas Letter…

Well, I must be completely honest; it’s been one heck of a year. I’m half way through my senior year, off to Hastings or UNC (probably Hastings) half way through next year. It’s been a rough ride, my High School Career, but I appear to be gaining on my dreams, rather than losing ground. Still on the path of writing, still writing books (though much less. I’ve cut a lot of ideas from planning), and definitely still willing to declare my faith in God…hopefully that doesn’t go away.

  So…what I’ve done in the last year…hm…

Well, most of my past year experiences are kind of school related, and everything school related really pertains to performing arts. I appeared in a few school shows (both choir and theater). I played various roles in the Theatre IV original play “Eighteen Crazy Kids, a Bunny, and some Lollypops”, and a few choir concerts, along with the Goldtones Musical “Legends and Lies: The Musical Stories of Harry Chapin” and MVHS’s ninth “Goldust” concert. As for summer, I went to Canada for a little over a week for the third time with my youth missions. It was just as brilliant an experience as its always been, and I had a lot of fun.

First semester of my Senior year I appeared in “You Can’t Take It With You”, appearing on stage for a whoppin’ five minutes with thirty-four lines of dialogue in a two and a half hour play…not so heavily involved in that one. However, I was recently cast in my school musical (Honk!) as Graylag, who is a goose who speaks like a retired brigadier general.

The only other thing to report is that I’m getting a few pieces of writing published in my schools literary magazine, a short story called “Ceritul’s Prize”, and two poems called “Most Dreaded Escape” and “The Dance of Land Mines.”

So, yeah, that about sums up the year. I finished Senior Year (pt I) fairly strong with fives A’s and a couple B’s, and I feel ready for the most pointless project ever (senior projects…), and to embrace the coming of a new year…
